It's often a problem of plenty when it comes to spending, saving and investing. Mutual Funds, Insurance, Bonds, Gold, Stocks or Gold: where does one park one's money and ensure that it grows best?

We have designed a survey that will help you take a long, hard look at your financial choices. The survey will gather key insights on consumer financial behaviour and help industry customise products better for you. Additionally, our data scientists will sieve through the data to process relevant findings that will help you make better choices.

It would be great if you can take some time off your busy schedule to fill the ET Wealth survey series. Don’t worry, we will not share your details for commercial purposes.

How to Participate

To participate, you must:

  1. Register yourself on
  2. Answer all the questions listed in the survey.
  3. Only completed surveys will be eligible for Times Points.
  4. Here is the break-up of points earned:
    • Completing Registration -> 100 points earned
    • Completing Page 2 -> 50 points earned
    • Completing Page 3 -> 100 points earned

You also earn additional points on participating in forthcoming surveys. In every survey, you earn more points for every page of questions answered.

The Lucky Draw: Amongst the eligible participants, ONE participant in each survey will be selected by the random draw of lots. All completed surveys with valid details are eligible for the lucky draw prize worth Rs. 10000.

This campaign titled ET Wealth survey series is subject to the following terms & conditions ("T&C"), which may be updated by Times Internet Limited "TIL" from time to time without any prior notice to Participant (as defined below). Participant can review the latest version of the T&C at any time at and if the Participant does not agree with these T & C, Participant is requested not to participate in the Campaign. Participation in the Campaign shall be deemed as the acceptance of the T&C by the Participant.


  1. "Campaign": - means this campaign titled as ET Wealth survey series.
  2. "Participant":- shall mean the user, who is eligible to participate in the Campaign and chooses to participate in the Campaign.
  3. "Judges": means the panel of judges appointed by TIL in its sole discretion, who shall have final authority to declare the winners of the Campaign. The decision of Judges shall be final and binding on the Participant.
  4. "Territory": - shall mean "India".
  5. "Winner":- shall mean the Participant who is declared as winner of the Campaign as per the terms listed below.


If you are 18 years or above, you are eligible to participate in the Survey. Our employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors or advertising/promotion agencies (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter the Survey.


Campaign shall start from 27 March 2015 and will conclude on 26 March 2016 ("Campaign Period"). TIL reserves the right to extend or shorten the Campaign Period at its sole discretion for any further duration.


  1. This Campaign is aimed at successful sign ups and subsequent gathering of key insights on consumer financial behaviour by the users of ET Wealth survey series. Upon registering or logging in to ET Wealth survey series, the user shall be eligible to participate in ET Wealth survey series as per elements listed in "How to Participate".
  2. All results for the campaign will be declared within 30 working days after the end date of the Campaign as specified above. TIL reserves the right to change the time duration of the Campaign and the date of announcement of the prizes and winners.
  3. At the end of the campaign, there will be a Lucky Draw: Amongst the eligible participants, ONE participant in each survey will be selected by the random draw of lots. All completed surveys with valid details are eligible for the lucky draw.


  1. We may, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and in our sole discretion, change these rules or cancel the Survey at any time; or modify, terminate, or suspend the Survey should viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Survey or submission of entries.
  2. We are not responsible for:
    • a. lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Survey, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries;
    • any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Survey;
    • any error in the operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or
    • injury or damage to your or any other computer resulting from downloading any materials in connection with the Survey. We may, in our sole discretion, disqualify any individual found to be:
    • tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Survey or website;
    • acting in violation of these rules; or
    • acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. If your entry is incomplete or if you use robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods, your entry will be void. The authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the Survey at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these rules in the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same e-mail account. The authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domains associated with the submitted e-mail addresses. No greater than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules will be awarded. If any technical errors occur in the selection of potential prize winners or if more prizes are claimed than the number of prizes being awarded as provided in these Official Rules, we may award the prize by random drawing from among all eligible claimants.
  3. All participants qualifying for all the prizes listed above are required to claim the prizes post the announcement of the winners. The process of claiming the prizes shall be mentioned in the notification. The user may be asked to provide necessary details and documents validating his identity in the event of him/her qualifying as a winner. In the event the selected winner(s) does not provide the relevant documents (such as PAN CARD, IDENTITY PROOF, MOBILE NO. OWNERSHIP) as required by TIL, within a period of Thirty (30) days of intimation with regards to the same, TIL may, at its sole discretion, cancel the entitlement of the said winner and may award the prize to the second highest eligible participant.
  4. TIL also reserves the rights to change the prize at any time during the campaign, in case the mentioned item / product is not available in the market but at the same time TIL will ensure that the winner gets other / alternate prize worth the winning amount.
  5. Apart from the entitlement to the above Prize/s, the winner/s or their legal heirs will have no other rights or claims against TIL.
  6. The winner agrees that, by participating in the Survey, we may use the winner’s name, image or likeness in any manner and in any medium for our promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.


  1. TIL expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Neither does TIL make any warranty that the items / products made available under the Service will meet your requirements, or the delivery of the item / product will be timely, secure, nor is TIL responsible for any damages done in transit.
  2. All / any government taxes on prizes (as applicable), shall be borne by the winner(s) and all deductions (such as TDS), wherever applicable, shall be made by TIL in accordance with section 194 B of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
  3. The prize shall be subject to such other terms and conditions as may be applicable to specific prize(s) and shall have to be duly complied with by the winner.
  4. The prize(s) to the winner shall be given subject to (i) the compliance with all applicable statutory legislations / processes / formalities in connection with the prize(s); (ii) on payment of all relevant government taxes / levies; (iii) on production all such documents / papers as required by TIL before accepting the delivery of the prize (such as PAN CARD). Any failure on the part of the winner to comply with the afore-mentioned, or in the event of any ambiguity / uncertainty / unavailability of the winner, TIL, in its own discretion will be entitled to cancel the prize(s) for the said winner(s).
  5. The decision of TIL in respect of all prizes / transactions under this Campaign shall be final and binding and no communication in this regard shall be entertained.

  2. All rights reserved. If you win a prize, you may not transfer, assign, or redeem the prize for cash. We may substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The winner agrees (for himself or herself and his or her heirs) that, by accepting the prize, we, along with our affiliates and agents, will have no liability, and will be held harmless by the winner for any liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, and reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the Survey, even if caused or contributed to by our negligence.
  3. You agree that our decisions related to the Survey and all drawings are final.
  4. All applicable taxes/duties/levies including service tax or other applicable taxes on winning the Prize/s. All deductions (such as TDS), withholding tax, transfer fee, insurance, regulatory and statutory duties, cess, surcharges, taxes (including TDS), registration fees etc. that may be applicable to avail/use the Prize/s will be borne exclusively by the winner.
  5. All Prize/s shall be subject to T & C and compliance with all applicable statutory legislations/ processes /formalities as may be applicable to specific Prize/s.
  6. Apart from the entitlement to the above Prize/s, the winner/s or their legal heirs will have no other rights or claims against TIL.
  7. TIL reserves the right to terminate, modify or extend this Campaign at any time at its absolute discretion, with notice to the Participant.
  8. TIL shall not be responsible for any loss or damage if it has to discontinue or cancel this Campaign in compliance with any law, ruling, order, circulars, notifications, regulation, requirement or instruction of any Central/State Government or for any other unavoidable reason beyond its control.
  9. The participation in this Campaign implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Campaign.
  10. The decision of TIL as to the interpretation of any of these terms and conditions shall be final and binding on the Participant.
  11. This Campaign cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion currently being offered.
  12. Any failure on the part of the winner to comply with directions issued by TIL, or in the event of any ambiguity / uncertainty / unavailability of the winner, TIL, in its own discretion will be entitled to cancel the Prize(s) for the said winner(s).
  13. TIL reserves the right to change / modify the T&C at its own discretion and without any prior notice or assigning any reason or to withdraw /suspend or terminate the campaign. Therefore, Participants are advised to regularly check for any amendment(s) or update(s) to the T&C. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
  14. Participant expressly agrees and acknowledges that Participant participates in the Campaign at its sole risk and responsibility. That the Campaign or service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. TIL expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. TIL shall not be responsible for sub-standard quality or any defects of any nature in the Prize supplied by manufacturers, including any damages done in transit. Any claim in respect of any Prize is a subject matter of the manufacturer of the product / service provider providing services as Prize to the winners of the Campaign and all enquiries for warranty / defect/ deficiency related claims or disputes shall be directly settled between the Winner and the manufacturer/service provider.
  15. The Participant hereby agrees and undertakes not to held TIL or any of their group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, vendors, responsible for or liable for, any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses that the Participant may/might have suffered, sustained or incurred, or claims to suffer, sustain or incur, by way of and /or on account of participation in the Campaign.
  16. For the purpose of Referral (as per definition stated above), any forwarding or distribution of the URL link through the media / avenues is an activity done by the Participant and TIL shall not be responsible for the content used by the participant for distribution nor shall be TIL held responsible for the sites / media on which the unique URL is being posted onto.
  17. By participating in the Campaign and/or accepting a prize, Participant agrees to defend, release and hold harmless the Sponsor, TIL and subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, and the foregoing companies' officers, directors, shareholders, employees, representatives, agents and all others associated with the development and execution of the Campaign (collectively the "Releases") from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind (including any for the violation or infringement of any proprietary or personal right of any individual or entity) resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Campaign, and/or the use, acceptance, or possession of a Campaign prize, participation in a Campaign prize-related activity, and/or the publication of a submitted entry.
  18. The aggregate liability of TIL, in case of any damage, loss, cost, claim, liability or expense (including legal costs and expenses) caused to or incurred by any act, omission or representation in respect of the Gratification/s of this Campaign to any individual winner, shall not exceed the value of Gratification won by the winner
  19. TIL shall not be liable for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of profits, business, revenue and/or goodwill. In the event, TIL is held liable for any damages, the aggregate liability of TIL under this campaign shall be not be more than the value of prize won by the user.
  20. The Campaign is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.

  1. This “Offer” is open and valid only for citizens of India, permanently residing in India.
  2. Participation in this Offer shall be treated as unconditional acceptance by the Participant to all the applicable terms and conditions mentioned herein.

  13. Disputes, if any, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gurgaon.
