Covid-19: Karnataka Bank announces waiver of charges for digital transactions

Private sector lender Karnataka Bank on Tuesday announced waiver of charges for NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI transactions done through its digital channels and ATM transactions from Bank’s own ATMs to its customers until further notification.

BENGALURU: Private sector lender Karnataka Bank on Tuesday announced waiver of charges for NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI transactions done through its digital channels and ATM transactions from Bank’s own ATMs to its customers until further notification.

”Customers are hereby requested to make best use of the digital channels to help fight the menace as responsible citizens. I am sure this pro-active step by the Bank will greatly help general public and business community to transact seamlessly in times of social distancing. Our digital banking infrastructure is secure and robust enough not to let you down in this time of distress and now we have made them available to you free of cost,” bank CEO & MD Mahabaleshwara, M.S, said in a press release.
