NEW DELHI: A committee of experts has deferred the request of Serum Institute of India (SII) to start clinical trials of the Oxford Covid-19 vaccine and asked the company to submit a revised protocol for evaluation. The subject expert committee (SEC) has recommended eight amendments to the firm’s proposal to conduct Phase 2 and 3 trials.
