An initiative of the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) and Baseline Ventures, Pro Volleyball promoters have secured long term sponsorship agreements from RuPay as title sponsor for the next three seasons.
“We are pleased to enter into a continual association with Pro Volleyball league, which was very well accepted among the younger generation, in the inaugural season,” said Kunal Kalawatia, CMO, RuPay. “...our constant focus is to target next-gen customers and provide experience especially customised for them. We believe RuPay Pro Volley Ball League is an ideal platform for us to reach out to the young India.”
Bank of Baroda and Peter England also have come back as associate sponsors for next two seasons.

Echoing his thoughts, Manish Singhai, COO, Peter England, added, “At Peter England we are committed in supporting sports which commands a huge appeal in the county. We are excited to continue our association with Pro Volleyball League.”
The league is also in process of signing a four-year deal with a leading fantasy sports player, while Nippon Paints has come as an associate sponsor for the upcoming season.
Mahesh Anand, President - Decorative Business, Nippon Paint India, said, “The entry of Pro Volleyball League has added a new colour to the whole sporting eco-system in the country, the sport and the league is a true reflection of brand Nippon Paint India so continuing the association was a straightforward decision for us.”
Sources said that the league had managed to rake in Rs 5 crore in on-ground sponsorships in first season, which is expected to double in season 2, scheduled to kick off on February 7th.
The first season of Pro Volleyball was viewed by 22 million viewers in India and was aired in 45 countries across the globe. It was also a hit with the fantasy gaming enthusiasts with 178,000 players playing during the final match.
