VADODARA: The city-based Sayaji Hotels Limited (SHL) has chalked out an ambitious plan of opening up of a three star hotel in Pune, Maharashtra and setting up of 100 'barbecue nations' across the country, its Managing Director Sajid Dhanani announced.
Talking to reporters on launching of its barbecue nation at Shrimm Shalini mall in the posh Alkapuri locality of the city today, Dhanani said that it has invested Rs 135 crore for opening up of 50 room three star hotel in Pune which is almost ready and it will be opened by December this year.
After successful operations of Sayaji hotels in the industrial capital of Gujarat at Vadodara and Sayaji hotel in Indore in the neighbouring state of Madhya Pradesh, the SHL decided to undertake hotel project in Pune which is humming up with industrial activities.
"Though they are three star-hotels, we have been giving five star facilities in these hotels." Dhasnani said.
Barbecue nation, a subsidiary of SHL, a restaurant business initiative of Sayaji Hotels Limited has undertaken a plan of setting up of 100 barbecues in all the metros and major cities of the country in the next three years, Dhanani said.
It is also seriously considering of setting up of barbecues in Hong kong, Singapore, London, Dubai, Soudiarabia, Abudhabi etc, Dhanani said.
It will foray into overseas market in one of the above mentioned countries before the end of this year, Dhasnani said.
