Synopsis

In the past two weeks, only 25 of 900 hotel rooms had been used, according to the order by the office of the incident commander, the Dwarka sub divisional magistrate.

New Delhi: The Delhi government delinked three hotels, including the Taj Vivanta hotel in Dwarka, from the Covid hospitals to which they were attached. The order on Saturday cited non-utilisation of beds, prompting the hotel industry to urge the state to scrap the policy of requisitioning properties as hospital extensions for Covid patients and allow them to resume normal business instead.In the past two weeks, only 25 of 900 hotel rooms had
