Independent hotel owners look at partnering with established chains
Both domestic and international brands have come out with detailed SOPs for guests and travellers in keeping with the WHO guidelines and those issued by the ministry of health and family welfare.

Synopsis

"We are currently running over 100 operator searches for owners. A lot of conversion will be visible. Consumers want to stay in hotels where their health and hygiene is not compromised," said Nandivardhan Jain, CEO of hospitality advisory firm Noesis Capital Advisors.

More and more independent and standalone hotel owners in the country are looking at partnering with established hotel chains for management or franchising contracts, consultants and hotel chains said. This is because in the new normal post Covid 19, travellers will be selective about the properties they stay in and will choose those that adhere to stringent safety protocols.
