    IHCL launches Qmin mobile app; users can personalise orders, curate menus & track deliveries

    Users can choose their favourite cuisine from Taj restaurants in Mumbai, based on their location. IHCL said the app offers guests flexibility with features such as the multi-restaurant order, which allows them to order from multiple restaurants in the same hotel simultaneously, and a scheduling assistant that allows them to schedule orders for the same day, as per their requirements.

    New Delhi: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the launch of its Qmin mobile application in Mumbai on Friday. Available on both Google Play Store for Android users and and on iOS, IHCL said it will roll out in nine other cities including Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai in the coming weeks. The chain said the Qmin app brings signature dishes from the company’s restaurants to their homes.

    Designed and developed by IHCL in collaboration with Tata Digital, the chain said the Qmin app allows guests to personalise their order, curate menus, and track deliveries in real-time.

    Users can choose their favourite cuisine from Taj restaurants in Mumbai, based on their location. IHCL said the app offers guests flexibility with features such as the multi-restaurant order, which allows them to order from multiple restaurants in the same hotel simultaneously, and a scheduling assistant that allows them to schedule orders for the same day, as per their requirements.

    The chain said Qmin has a delivery fleet, which is provided with mandatory protective gear and extremely sanitized transportation for conducting contactless deliveries.

    IHCL had said in June the company was planning to launch the Qmin mobile application on July 25 through which it will deliver dishes from Taj restaurants in Mumbai, such as Golden Dragon and Souk from Taj Mahal Palace, and Thai Pavilion and Trattoria from President, besides group hotels.

    It had also said the service will cover markets including Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru over a period of five weeks and that the gourmet Qmin shop will open in August and the brand will be integrated into the chain's loyalty programme in September.
