    V Resorts raises $10 million from HNIs

    The six-year-old company, which operates over 150 properties in 22 states, has now raised an estimated $14 million in equity financing.

    The New Delhi-based Bliss Inns, which owns and operates travel solutions and resort management startup V Resorts, raised $10 million led by a clutch of high net-worth individuals in its Series A round.

    The six-year-old company, which operates over 150 properties in 22 states, has now raised an estimated $14 million in equity financing. The syndicated list of investors that participated in the new round include Vikram Puri of Archer Hospitality and Mohit Chuganee, owner of Mass Private Trust.

    V Resorts, founded by Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, alum Aditi Balbir in 2014, will use the proceeds to further build on its technology platform and also utilise a significant portion to build proprietary SaaS products for the hospitality industry.

    The company also plans to expand its footprint in India and enter new markets across South Asia and the Middle East, with a target of reaching over 1,000 properties and 15,000-plus rooms over the next three years.
