The company said Yatra’s hospitality partners can leverage the Amazon Business Marketplace to access a 'wide range' of products across categories to cater to their various needs. These products range from commercial grade kitchen appliances, kitchen storage solutions, linen and décor items, waste management products, large appliances, office supplies, and safety and sanitization products. Yatra said the hospitality partners will get access to deals from over 3.5 lakh sellers across the country and the partnership aims to create a ‘one-stop-shop’ for 108,000 hotels across the country.
Dhruv Shringi, co-founder and CEO, Yatra.com, said the move is another step towards diversification of the company's portfolio beyond travel. "Backed with our extensive network of hotels across India, we are moving ahead to extend our portfolio through seamless integration on the Yatra partner platform. Amazon has been a market leader in the e-commerce space and through Amazon Business, we want to offer an avenue to our partners where necessities are just a click away," he added.
Peter George, director, Amazon Business said the partnership will help its sellers reach lakhs of hotels across the country as they kick-start operations again.
"Amazon Business marketplace helps business customers conveniently discover and save on over 15 crore products ranging from commercial grade kitchen appliances, large appliances, home décor, office supplies and storage solutions and more with the added advantage of GST invoice for input tax credit and bulk purchase discounts," he added.
Yatra said the initiative is live on Yatra’s hospitality partner platform and is available pan-India.
