Synopsis

The company is said to have about 4,000 employees in the country, of which about 1,000 are in the corporate division. Corporate division’s functions include customer relationship management, visual merchandising, human resources, retail planning and buying, marketing, IT and training.

New Delhi: Reliance Brands, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries that sells a raft of luxury and premium labels in India, is in a consolidation mode, people close to the situation said. It is transferring retail staffers to group company JioMart, increasing focus on online sales and rightsizing its manpower needs, they added.
