ET’s review of B-school recruitment this year shows average annual salary was between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 25 lakh at top institutes.
Another year, and further proof that India’s leading B-schools are almost immune to the business cycle. Job markets are up or down in various sectors and at various levels of hiring. But recruiters, as always, competed for the best and the brightest this year, keeping starting salaries high.

ET’s review of B-school recruitment this year shows average annual salary was between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 25 lakh at top institutes. Consulting and BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) companies led the charge.
