It was the perfect clutch of personalities at the opening of Jio Garden in Mumbai's BKC on Wednesday. A partnership between Reliance Foundation and MMRDA, the garden was inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and the event hosted by Mukesh and Nita Ambani. Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham, Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan lent muscle to the show.

An exhibition match and a high tea followed. While Mukesh Ambani spoke with Fadnavis and Shaina NC, surrounded by a thick security blanket, Nita shared thoughts with Tendulkar. The Bachchans gamely accommodated picture requests. Meanwhile, the sprawling garden is more than just a green space. It accommodates an underground two-storey parking space with a capacity of 2,000 cars, state-of-the-art parking system and the highest levels of security.
