The apex court is expected to issue a verdict today on Chakraborty's plea.
A few hours before the Supreme Court hearing of Rhea Chakraborty's plea to transfer KK Singh's FIR from Patna to Mumbai, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's US-based sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, has sent out a video appeal to the fans of the actor.

In the 43-second video, Shweta, who has been seeking justice for her late brother on social media platforms, says 'I request everyone to stand together and demand for CBI inquiry for Sushant'.

Shweta says that the family deserves to know the truth about Sushant, otherwise 'we will never find closure, we won't be able to live a peaceful life'. The video ends with Shweta holding a placard with #CBIForSSR written on it.

The apex court is expected to issue a verdict today on Chakraborty's plea. In the court proceedings on Tuesday, the actress’ legal counsel stated that she wasn’t opposed to a CBI probe, and only sought that it be done through the Maharashtra government. The Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved the verdict in the Sushant Singh Rajput case and instructed all parties involved to submit their notes by Thursday.

In a fresh affidavit, Chakraborty even appealed to the court for protection from an ongoing ‘media trial’ that has already branded her ‘guilty’. Rhea also stated that she shouldn’t be made a ‘political scapegoat’ in the death probe.
