Excerpts from an interview:
Can you tell us something about your How to Grow Your Business Seminar? It caters to the need and demands of today’s entrepreneur. I was once a budding entrepreneur and I’ve seen many struggle to convert their dreams into reality. The seminar has been designed to support entrepreneurs build a successful business by teaching them the right tools and techniques.
What is the biggest barrier for success for entrepreneurs? Entrepreneurs often think more, do less. Looking at achieving perfection in business slows their growth. I coach them to focus on creating systems and to go for consistent progress.
Parekh's seminar caters to the need and demands of today’s entrepreneur. Why are you known as a turn-around specialist? As a one-time failed entrepreneur, I know the pain of setting out on a journey and losing the path midway. I learnt the right way of setting up systems and processes to build a scalable business. I then realised there are thousands of others who could benefit from this knowledge. So, I put my learning as a certified business success coach by International Coaches Federation to use.
What will be the takeaway from the seminar? I have created a simple system that can help business owners to move from existing to excelling. Building a business is simple, but not easy. I teach them ways to create business systems, processes and powerful strategies that are needed to build a sustainable business

In an interview last year, Sandberg revealed that before she left Google to join Facebook, she spent a lot of time contemplating whether to make the switch. Sandberg said that she met Zuckerberg at a Christmas party in 2007, after which they became friends and thought about working together. However, it took both three months — which calculates to a painstaking 1,31,400 minutes — to come to a decision about it. Sandberg told Zuckerberg that if she was going to work for him, they would need to give each other candid feedback and check in with each other first thing Monday morning and last thing Friday every week. They have been working together for nine years now. (Text: AFP)
