For music’s sake: Zubin Mehta’s 80th birthday celebratory concert at the Brabourne Stadium

As the crowd exited, the host for the evening requested all to not rush and maintain discipline on their way out. Seen following these instructions dedicatedly, was Shom Hinduja, son of Ashok Hinduja.

Last Wednesday saw Zubin Mehta’s 80th birthday celebratory concert at the Brabourne Stadium. As the crowd exited, the host for the evening requested all to not rush and maintain discipline on their way out. Seen following these instructions dedicatedly, was Shom Hinduja, son of Ashok Hinduja, chairman of the Hinduja Group of Companies (India). Shom was seen walking out with a couple of friends, in the direction of his car. Given the large numbers in attendance at the evening, parking was scant around the venue and traffic, a bit of a mess. This young heir, though, had no qualms blending in with the crowd and walking to his car, which we overheard was parked at least a kilometre away.
