Team India struggled after a disastrous start against the Kiwis in the ongoing World Cup semi-final game. After a damp end to yesterday's match against New Zealand at Old Trafford in Manchester, the Men in Blue's rocky start lost the top order - Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik and KL Rahul - in quick succession. The Black Caps had set a target of 240 runs after the rain halted the match.

And Twitter was quick to judge the game, through funny tweets and memes.

As the Meme-Lords got in the trolling game, Twitterati began praying for rain to save the day. While some cricket fans prayed for MS Dhoni to make an appearance, others made jokes on the situation India was facing.

Writer-columnist 'Five Point Someone' author Chetan Bhagat joined the followers, putting in a prayer for heavy showers.

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra, who believes that India lose every time that he tunes in, confirmed to his Twitter followers that he was preoccupied in a board meeting, clearly not wanting to jinx it. However, the top boss was updated by his colleagues on the not-so-great score.

He further expressed his anxiousness about India's lagging start, cheering up the team.
