That Anand Mahindra’s Twitter timeline is full of amazing videos and wonderful life advice is well known.

This morning, the Mahindra top boss shared an inspirational story about Karnataka’s Srinivasa Gowda, who took the Twitterverse by storm by running 100 meters in just 9.55 seconds.

Gowda was lauded by the Internet for accomplishing this incredible feat and netizens couldn’t help but compare him to the world’s fastest runner, Usain Bolt.

Mahindra took to Twitter to appreciate Gowda for his achievement. “Just one look at his physique & you know this man is capable of extraordinary athletic feats,” wrote the 64-year-old.

The Indian billionaire businessman was all praises for Gowda. “Now either @KirenRijiju provides him training as a 100m sprinter or we get Kambala to become an Olympic event”, Mahindra said on a light-hearted note. He ended his tweet calling for a gold medal to be awarded to Gowda.

Kiren Rijiju, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, took notice of Anand Mahindra’s tweet and gave an apt response. Rijiju not only assured that a fair trial will be conducted by SAI coaches but also assured his followers that he wouldn’t let Indian talent go untested.

Soon, Rijiju sent out another tweet updating his followers that Gowda’s rail ticket is done and that the trials will be conducted in a fair manner.
