A day after the Enforcement Directorate issued public notices to Lalit Modi and his wife Minal, the former IPL commissioner has hit back with a sarcastic post on Instagram, saying the authorities are targeting his wife who died a year ago.

“I have no way of getting that information from my wife Minal Modi anymore. She was a very private person and only she knew what accounts she had and where. I am incapable of providing that information as I can’t reach her anymore. I have tried, but not succeeded. She is upstairs. Maybe our resourceful Enforcement Directorate, who for the past 10 full years, have yet to come up with an iota of wrongdoing on my part, will make a trip to see her upstairs,” he wrote.

The concerned Department of Government Of India seems to be a bit too late in asking for this information about Bank Accounts of My Wife Minal / Minalini Modi from the Swiss Authorities. They did ask the same information from the Swiss FTA A FEW YEARS AGO. Guess they found nothing - thus another Fishing Expedition- well my friends I have no way of getting that information from my Wife Minal / Minalani Modi anymore. She was a very Private person and only she knew what accounts she had and Where. Like I said i am incapable of providing that information as I can’t reach her ANYMORE. I HAVE TRIED 😢 but not succeeded. She is Upstairs. Maybe our resourceful Enforcement Directorate who for the past 10 FULL TEN YEARS - Have yet to come up with an iota of wrong doing on my part. What they will find now will only be possible if they make a trip To see her Upstairs. As I do not know the way There and back 😂😂😂. But if they do find her - kindly Pass on our messages to her - “That we really miss her” and if you could arrest her and bring her back on your special transportation system - then I promise I will make her give you whatever u want . Kindly do not delay this matter. Your friends the Swiss sent us something is Swiss language. Which information is not valid for me - as I don’t have a Swiss bank Account. Or ever had one. Or contemplating in having one. She did before even she married me had one. So she is the only person prive to that information. Waiting Anxiously for you to - 1. Reach her. 2. Arrest her or she won’t come. 3. Bring her back down to us. We will for lifelong grateful to our Enforcement Long hands People. 😢☝️☝️☝️👩🏻 🤝 🗣👩🏻 🛂🆘👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 👩🏻🤗🤗.
