AirPods Pro, the new offering from the Cupertino-based tech giant, were unveiled last month. The AirPods Pro were released in the US on October 30, two days after they were announced, at $250.
As per Apple India’s website, AirPods Pro can now be purchased at all Apple Reauthorised Sellers in the country. They are priced at Rs 24,900, as compared to the price in the US (approximately Rs 17,850).
“Customers can order the standalone wireless charging case for Rs 7,500,” news agency IANS reported the company saying in a statement. However, at the time of writing this article, the AirPods were listed as ‘currently unavailable’ on Amazon and Flipkart.
For the uninitiated, the USP of the new AirPods is that they come with active-noise cancellation. The previous version of the AirPods were criticised for lacking this feature.
What’s more? The earbuds come in three sizes with soft silicone ear tips that fit the contours of different ears.
If you are not a fan of noise cancellation, fret not. AirPods Pro also come with a Transparency Mode that allows you to listen to the background sound along with music. They also have an Adaptive EQ feature which automatically tunes the low- and mid-frequencies of the music to the shape of an individual's ear.
AirPods Pro can be used with Apple devices running iOS 13.2, iPadOS 13.2, watchOS 6.1, tvOS 13.2, macOS Catalina 10.15.1 or later versions of these operating systems. AirPods Pro deliver over 24 hours of listening time or over 18 hours of talk time.
A Sigh Of Relief: Apple iOS 13.3 Released, Reportedly Fixes The Most ‘Annoying’ Bugs
A Lifesaving Update, Indeed!
Back when Apple announced iOS 13 at the last WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), probably no Apple user had expected so many bugs and issues to creep into their phones. Apple delivered most of the features it had promised with iOS 13.2 which was rolled out on October 30.
However, to fix the problems that users are facing, Apple has released iOS 13.3 to those who had signed up for beta testing. Reportedly, iOS 13.3 has fixed quite a few bugs, including the one which is being dubbed as the most ‘annoying’ problem till date.
