Guy guide: I always shop for the men in my life so I always end up giving them a lot of clothes and sometimes a good bottle of booze – it’s easy and quick.

Handy hints: When shopping for someone, you need to keep what their heart desires in mind. You need to balance the element of surprise with what they will use and what they can afford in order to not overwhelm them.

Colleague crisis: Vouchers. I like giving spa vouchers, holiday vouchers or maybe a meal somewhere. In all, the best kind of gift for me is experience.

Must have: Interesting socks to keep you happy! A good pair of sneakers or formal shoes and maybe a nice luxurious looking hoodie because I think it can go from day to night.

Shopping destination: I like Phoenix Marketcity because there are over 600 brands under one roof so there is a wide variety of choice. It is a really fun place to visit in the city.

Package matters: It makes a difference because packaging and wrapping adds drama and a dimension to the gift and makes it look more attractive.
