NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan travelled to Bihar on Tuesday to meet the Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, and thank him for making 'Super 30' tax-free in the state.

The 45-year-old actor took to Twitter to share images with the leader, calling it an inspirational meeting. He looked dapper in a dark blue jacket with a white T-shirt, and matching visor cap.

The politician also shared some more images from the meeting that showed the film's director Vikas Bahl and Patna-based educationist and Super 30 founder Anand Kumar.

After the movie was declared tax-free in Bihar, the 'Kabil' actor had thanked the state CM Nitish Kumar and Modi too on Twitter.

Roshan shared an image with Kumar on Twitter, and saluted teachers like him on Guru Purnima.

The movie is inspired by the mathematician's real life. It addresses and acknowledges the importance of teachers in building and strengthening the society. Kumar, who has been providing free coaching to IIT aspirants from humble backgrounds for close to two decades, said Roshan had brought authenticity to the biopic with his earnest portrayal.

Roshan was also requested by reporters to speak a few lines in typical Bihari accent, something he did for the movie. The actor obliged but said he had lost touch with the accent after he finished shooting the film.

The movie minted over Rs 50 crore at the box office in the opening weekend after its release on July 12.
