NEW DELHI: With the trailer and song release of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's last film 'Dil Bechara', fond memories are coming back.

Film-maker Farah Khan, who had choreographed Rajput's dance moves in the much-awaited movie, poured her heart out on Instagram, along with two images of the late actor from the sets of the film.

In an emotional note, the choreographer-director said that the title track of the film was special to her as that was the first time she got a chance to choreograph her long-time friend Rajput. "We were friends for a long time, but never worked together," she wrote.

She further described how she wanted to capture the entire song in a single shot, and Rajput managed to do it perfectly.

The 55-year-old film-maker said that they had finished the shoot in half-a-day after rehearsing for an entire day. "As a reward for nailing it perfectly, all Sushant wanted was food from my house which I duly got for him. I see the song n all I can see is how alive, how happy he looks in it," she wrote.

This song is particularly close to me because it was the first time i was choreographing Sushant.. we were friends for a long time but never worked together.. i had also promised Mukesh chhabra that whn he makes his directorial debut I would do a song for him.. i wanted the song to b done as a 1 shot song because i knew Sushant would b able to do it perfectly.. i remembred Sushant had once come to a reality dance show that I was judging as a celebrity guest and that's the only time the celebrity guest danced better than the contestants on that show.. we rehearsed a whole day n then finished shoot in half a day ! As a reward for nailing it perfectly all Sushant wanted was food frm my house which i duly got for him..i see the song n all i can see is how Alive, how happy he looks in it.. yes this song is very special to me.thank u @castingchhabra for including me on this journey of urs. https://bit.ly/DilBecharaTitleTrack. “And just like that, Bollywood's best choreographer made #DilBechara's title track happen and how. Presenting the magic of Sushant and the magic of the maestro A R Rahman to you…” Chabbra captioned the video.

The casting director-turned-filmmaker said the music album of his directorial debut is an emotional rollercoaster of romance and friendship that takes the narrative of the film forward.

"Having A R Rahman aboard for the music of my directorial debut is a dream come true. What's amazing about the genius of Rahman in this album is that it beautifies the narrative and takes it forward," he added.

Music maestro AR Rahman has composed the album of the film, penned by lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya. The Oscar-winner said the album of the film is “carefully curated” and Rajput's memories makes it even more special.

"Composing music doesn't have any formula, it is a thing of the heart. When I write songs, I let them breathe for some time and then present it to the director. This whole album is carefully curated because the film has so much heart, and now, memories of Sushant," the composer was quoted by news agency PTI.

'Dil Bechara' is the last movie that the Bollywood actor filmed before his death on June 14 at the age of 34. Adapted from famous John Green's novel 'The Fault In Our Stars', the film is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24.
