Amazon is given to discounting its own hardware – be it Kindles, smart speakers, or various models of Fire TV sticks. But, ever since the wireless Echo Buds were released last autumn, they have not been afforded a substantial price cut.

However, the Echo buds are now available at a discounted price of USD 90, roughly 30 per cent less than their original price of USD 130. With the price cut, the Echo Buds offer good value for money, especially when you take into consideration the fact the competition can cost significantly more. Apple’s popular AirPods cost USD 159.

Unlike Apple’s wireless earphones, which look like Q-tips, the Echo Buds resemble other true wireless earbuds like that offered by Huawei and Realme. The charging case is bulkier than that of the Anker SoundCore Liberty Air 2 and Apple’s AirPods.

They are handy and small enough to fit into one’s shirt pocket without much trouble. Furthermore, they have hands-free Alexa, use Bose’s noise-reduction technology, and are sweat resistant. While audiophiles might find fault with the Echo Buds’ performance on either end of the frequency spectrum, most casual listeners are bound to not take notice.

The Ear Buds are not available on Amazon’s India website but users can purchase it on the global store and get it shipped by paying the delivery charge.
