Uddhav Thackeray sworn-in as Maha CM: Ambanis join Fadnavis at ceremony; Mahindra says Balasaheb 'must be looking down with pride'
The 59-year-old Sena leader is the first member of the Thackeray family to hold the top post.

Business mogul and India's richest man Mukesh Ambani along with wife Nita and son Anant were also present at the oath-taking ceremony, held at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
The RIL Chairman was spotted sitting beside former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, and Anant Ambani occupied a seat next to BJP state president Chandrakant Patil.
Mukesh and Nita Ambani later joined Thackeray on stage for the ceremony, that was also attended by Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, Kapil Sibbal, KTS Tulsi, MK Stalin, SK Shinde, Sanjay Raut, and Prithviraj Chavan, MNS leader and Uddhav's cousin Raj Thackeray. Congress leadership Sonia and Rahul Gandhi were however absent.
Uddhav Thackeray reportedly also extended a personal invitation to Narendra Modi, but the Prime Minister was not among the guests at the event.
Uddhav Thackeray, who took over as CM over a month after results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections were declared on October 24, is the first member of the family to hold the post.
Mahindra boss Anand Mahindra, though absent from the ceremony, took to Twitter to congratulate the newly-elected CM and remember their first meeting.
"Your father must be looking down with pride from above. I remember first meeting you when we were young & we both had given up the option of artistic careers. I hope you’ll use your creative talents to take the great state of Maharashtra forward," Mahindra tweeted.

Thackeray was unanimously elected as the leader of the an alliance between Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress - Maha Vikas Aghadi, after the Sena ended its years long alliance with the BJP, leading to a political turmoil in the state.
