'War' unstoppable at BO, rakes in Rs 276 cr during third week

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer 'War' has already been named this year's second-highest grosser.

Continuing its upward streak at the box-office, the action-thriller crossed the Rs 275 crore mark, raking in Rs 276.40 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the film's earnings, saying, "#War witnesses the normal weekday decline... Goes past Rs 275 cr... Next target: Rs 300 cr... #War [#Hindi; Week 2] Fri 7.10 cr, Sat 11.20 cr, Sun 13.20 cr, Mon 4.40 cr. Total: Rs 264.40 cr. Including #Tamil + #Telugu: Rs 276.40 cr. #India biz."


'War's weekend collections on Friday, Saturday and Sunday stood at Rs 7.10 crore, Rs 11.20 crore, and Rs 13.20 crore respectively.

The film on its opening day had minted Rs 51.60 crore, followed by Rs 23.10 crore on day 2.

'War' is the fifth project by Yash Raj Films to cross Rs 100 crore plus net box-office collection on the third day, after 'Dhoom 3', 'Sultan', 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'Thugs of Hindostan'.

The high-octane film that also stars Vaani Kapoor, shows the two male superstars pitted in a massive showdown.
