Axis Bank’s Jairam Sridharan resigns as CFO
Axis Bank’s Jairam Sridharan has resigned from the post of group executive and chief financial officer, the lender informed bourses on Friday.

The private sector bank said Sridharan would like to pursue other career opportunities and as such has resigned from the services of the bank.

“Jairam Sridharan will continue to serve as the group executive and chief financial officer of the bank under his notice period of three months,” Axis Bank said in a release.

The bank has also initiated the succession plan for the said post.

Axis Bank informed about the resignation post market hours. Earlier during the day, shares of the bank closed 1.64 per cent down at Rs 717.55. On the other hand, benchmark BSE Sensex settled 334 points, or 0.82 per cent, down at 40,445.
