    Bharti Infratel Ltd. shares drop 1.86% as Sensex rises

    Shares of Bharti Infratel Ltd. traded 1.86 per cent down at Rs 219.1 at 02:18PM (IST) on Wednesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 586.72 points to 34412.25. The stock had settled at Rs 223.25 in the previous session.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 295.75 and Rs 121.25, respectively.

    As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 02:18PM (IST) stood at 02:18PM shares with turnover at Rs 6.06 crore.

    At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 12.29 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 17.83 per share and 2.99 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.34.

    Shareholding Details
    Promoters held 53.51 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2020, while FIIs owned 42.03 per cent and DIIs 1.91 per cent.
