    NEW DELHI: Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd. traded 0.68 per cent down in Friday's trade at 01:54PM (IST). Around 817,932 shares changed hands on the counter.

    The scrip opened at Rs 187.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 187.1 and Rs 180.25, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 416.4 and a 52-week low of Rs 125.4.

    Total market cap of the Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd. stood at Rs 11255.68 crore at the time of writing this report.

    The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 3101.0 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, up 1.8 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 3046.1 crore and up 7.67 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2880.05 crore.

    The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 234.8183 crore, down 65.83 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

    Shareholding pattern
    As of 31-Mar-2020, domestic institutional investors held 12.14 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 23.94 per cent and the promoters 51.19 per cent.

    Valuation ratio
    According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 10.47 and a price-to-book ratio of 0.93. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
