    Market Now: These stocks plunge over 10% defying bullish market stance

    Synopsis

    The NSE Nifty index was trading 105 points up at 10,332, while the BSE Sensex was up 333 points at 33,640 around 10:20 am (IST).

    NEW DELHI: Shares of Green Fire Agri Commodities (down 20 per cent), Andhra Bank (down 12.58 per cent) and MVL (down 11.11 per cent) plunged over 10 per cent during Monday's trade, defying positive market stance.

    Shares of (down 10 per cent), GTL Infrastructure (down 9.52 per cent), (down 7.63 per cent), IDBI Bank (down 6.79 per cent) and Keynote Corporate Services (down 6.45 per cent) cracked up to 10 per cent.

    However, shares of (up 16.50 per cent), Vaswani Industries (up 13 per cent) and PG Electroplast (up 13 per cent) jumped over 12 per cent on NSE in Monday's trade.

    The BSE Sensex surged over 300 points in early trade and the Nifty reclaimed the 10,300-level on fresh capital inflows by foreign funds ahead of key IIP and inflation data to be released after market hours today.

    The NSE Nifty index was trading 105 points up at 10,332, while the BSE Sensex was up 333 points at 33,640 around 10:20 am (IST).

    Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 44 were trading in the green, while 6 were in the red.

    In the Nifty50 index, ITC, HCL Technologies, , Tech Mahindra and Infosys were among the top gainers, while Coal India, , Bosch, Aurobindo Pharma and Asian Paints were among the top losers.
