Over 100 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs

The Nifty50 index closed 13 points down at 10,477, while the BSE Sensex ended Thursday's session 64 points down at 33,848.

Over 100 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 18 remained in the green.
NEW DELHI: As many as 101 stocks, including Bajaj Electricals, Delta Magnets, Hindalco Industries, Hindustan Unilever, Jindal Steel & Power and JSW Steel hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE on Thursday.

Larsen & Toubro Infotech, United Spirits, MindTree, The Phoenix Mills, Steel Authority of India (SAIL), Sanghi Industries, Sobha, Tata Steel, Thomas Cook (India), Voltas and Zydus Wellness also figured in the list of stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs today.

On the contrary, Dwarikesh Sugar Industries, General Insurance Corporation of India, Shree Ganesh Forgings, Shalby and Uttam Galva Steels were the five stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE.

The Nifty50 index closed 13 points down at 10,477, while the BSE Sensex ended Thursday's session 64 points down at 33,848.

Shares of Hindalco Industries, UPL, Vedanta, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Tata Steel, Indiabulls Housing Finance and GAIL (India) emerged as the top gainers among the Nifty50 stocks on Thursday.

On the contrary, Indian Oil Corporation, State Bank of India, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp remained the top losers.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 18 remained in the green, while 32 settled in the red.
