Over 35 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE on Monday

Over 35 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE on Monday
In the Nifty50 pack, 33 stocks settled in the green and 17 in the red.
NEW DELHI: As many as 36 stocks including Ashok Leyland, Bharat Forge, FCS Software Solutions and JSW Steel hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE on Monday.

Shares of Hind Rectifiers, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Lumax Auto Technologies, IZMO, MphasiS, TV Today Network, Lux Industries and Abbott India also joined the bandwagon of stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE on Monday.

On the contrary, shares of Electrosteel Steels, Jenson & Nicholson (India), Max India, SRS, United Breweries (Holdings) and Uttam Value Steels figured among the 13 stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE on Monday.

Domestic equity markets closed in the positive territory on Monday, backed by sustained buying in pharma, financial, capital goods, metal and power stocks amid positive global cues.

On Monday, the Nifty550 index closed 85 points, or 0.81 per cent, up at 10,540, while the BSE Sensex added 295 points, or 0.87 per cent, to close at 34,300.
