Shares of SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. traded 1.94 per cent up at Rs 794.55 at 10:32AM (IST) on Wednesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 380.17 points to 34205.7. The scrip had closed at Rs 779.4 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 1030.0 and Rs 520.0, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:32AM (IST) stood at 10:32AM shares with turnover at Rs 1.79 crore.

At the current price, the stock trades at 55.98 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 14.22 per share and 10.51 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.54.

Shareholding Details
Promoters held 57.6 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2020, while FIIs owned 25.87 per cent and DIIs 4.45 per cent.
