Equity benchmark Sensex traded over 1,400 points higher in Thursady's session after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a stimulus package worth Rs 1.70 lakh crore to cushion the impact of the lockdown in wake of COVID-19 pandemic. This was the third straight day of gains for benchmark indices. Only four Sensex stocks ended in the red. IndusInd Bank turned out to be the topmost gainer. Sensex soared 1,410.99 points to settle at 29,946.77, while Nifty jumped 323.60 points to 8,641.45.
