    NEW DELHI: Shares of Alok Industries Ltd. traded 4.9 per cent down in Monday's trade at 09:50AM (IST). Around 222,827 shares changed hands on the counter.

    The stock opened at Rs 27.15 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 27.15 and Rs 27.15, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Alok Industries Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 61.4 and a 52-week low of Rs 1.36.

    Total market cap of the Alok Industries Ltd. stood at Rs 13480.63 crore at the time of writing this report.

    Key Financials
    The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 369.16 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2020, down 50.65 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 748.1 crore and down 57.4 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 866.63 crore.

    The net loss for latest quarter stood at Rs 9936.75 crore, up 8116.26 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

    Shareholding pattern
    As of 14-Sep-2020, DIIs held 0.0 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 0.46 per cent and the promoters 0.0 per cent.

    Valuation ratio
    According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of -1.58 and a price-to-book ratio of -0.04. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    It's obvious that a set of vested interest people are playing with this scrip. They make LC and accumulate then take it up continuesly and drop. Clear pic is yet to come out.

    The share will be recording LC only in the following days and where it will stop noone can predict. Basically it's because of the Q1 results. Ambani sentiment how long it can work. Perhaps someone may be garnering the stocks on every dip. Best thing is to remove this LV/UC concept. If it is there intra trading to be curbed. Then the price will gradually get settled.
