Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 29.50 points, or 0.24 per cent, higher at 12,156.50, indicating a positive start for Dalal Street. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today’s trade:

IRCTC, Ashok Leyland: IRCTC, Hindalco, Ashok Leyland, ABB, Info Edge, Power Finance Corporation, PI Industries, IPCA Labs, Torrent Power, VIP Industries and Natco Pharma are among a few companies which will report their quarterly results today.

IDBI Bank: A one-time tax hit of Rs 6,273 crore has left IDBI Bank deep into the red for the 13th consecutive quarter with a net loss of Rs 5,763 crore for the three months to December 2019.

SPARC: Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company (SPARC) said the US health regulator has not approved its new drug application for Taclantis, its under development product for treatment of breast cancer.

Allahabad Bank: The bank reported an over two-fold jump in standalone net loss for the December quarter at Rs 1,986.26 crore on higher bad loans and provisioning. The state-owned lender had reported a net loss of Rs 732.81 crore in the corresponding October-December period of the previous fiscal.

Ircon International: The leading turnkey construction company reported 52.5 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 142.43 crore for the quarter ended December 31.The company had posted consolidated of Rs 93.39 crore in the year-ago period, Ircon International said in a BSE filing.

Titan Company: The company has acquired Hyderabad-based technology firm HUG Innovations for an undisclosed amount as it looks to strengthen its smart watches and wearables division.

IndusInd Bank: Moody’s on Monday changed IndusInd Bank’s outlook to negative from stable due to further deterioration in its asset quality, but affirmed its domestic and foreign currency issuer ratings at Baa3.

Bandhan Bank: The bank's weight in the MSCI India Index is likely to go up by 32 basis points in its next rejig due to an increase in free float, which could trigger an inflow of about ₹700 crore from overseas passive funds, Morgan Stanley said. MSCI will announce its review of indices Wednesday.

Vedanta: Adani and Vedanta are competing to acquire Lanco’s Amarkantak power plant located in the mine-rich Korba area in Chhattisgarh after it was admitted for insolvency proceedings by the National Company Law Tribunal last year.

Tata Power: The Subhash Chandra-led Essel Group is in talks with Adani Transmission and Tata Power to sell its under-construction Warora-Kurnool transmission line in an attempt to lower debt.

IRB Infrastructure Developers: The company is slated to win the contract for operating and collecting toll at Mumbai-Pune Expressway for a decade, after it emerged as the only player in the race.

Adani Transmission: A power transmission unit of billionaire Gautam Adani plans to raise up to $1billion in bond sale, which is likely to be launched in the first month of the next fiscal as it plans to reduce its cost of borrowing.

Hexaware Technologies: The IT firm said its net profit increased 35.9 per cent to Rs 167.8 crore in December 2019 quarter from Rs 123.4 crore in the year-ago period.

Indian Energy Exchange (IEX): The company has seen a 50% rebound in volumes after an extended run of the annual monsoon rains, federal elections and weak core industry demand dented business on India’s largest power exchange.

Piramal Enterprises: The company is looking at a big-bang launch of its online consumer lending unit. The speculation is that Piramal may tie-up with a large telecom player in an attempt to aggressively push its digital consumer lending business.

Ballarpur Industries: Paper and paper products manufacturer Ballarpur Industries on Tuesday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 766.12 crore in the third quarter ended December. The company had posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 152.23 crore in the third quarter last fiscal, Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT) said in a regulatory filing.

CESC: RP Sanjiv Goenka Group flagship company CESC Ltd on Tuesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 263 crore for the quarter ended December, registering a 10-per cent on-year rise in the bottomline.

Adani Enterprises: The company said its arm AAHL has incorporated three wholly-owned subsidiaries -- VSSL, GMSL and PISL.

Jindal Stainless: Jindal Stainless reported a 15.85 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 51.81 crore for the quarter ended December, mainly on account of reduced material and finance cost.

Spencer’s Retail: The company reported consolidated net loss of Rs 39.05 crore in the third quarter ended December 31. The company had posted consolidated net loss of Rs 11 lakh in the same period last fiscal, Spencer's Retail said in a regulatory filing.

Crisil: The rating firm reported a decline of 16.3 per cent in net profit to Rs 95.3 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 31. It had posted a net profit of Rs 113.8 crore in October-December quarter of the previous fiscal. The company follows January-December financial year.

Coal India: The Centre has offloaded 2.91 per cent stake in Coal India through the sixth further fund offer of CPSE ETF Mutual Fund scheme. The mining major on Tuesday reported a 14-per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit for the December quarter at Rs 3,921.8 crore.

Syndicate Bank: The bank said its net profit in December quarter 2019 grew manifold to Rs 434.82 crore as bad loans shrank. The public sector lender had registered a profit of Rs 107.99 crore in the year-ago period.

NCL India: The company posted 14.7 per cent rise in consolidated profit to Rs 400.15 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2019. The company had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 348.74 crore in the year-ago period, NLC India said in a BSE filing.

BASF India: The chemicals maker said its net loss narrowed to Rs 32.38 crore during the third quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal mainly driven by higher income.The company has posted a net loss of Rs 38.37 crore during the October-December quarter of the 2018-19 fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

RCF: State-owned Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) posted 70 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 78.42 crore for the third quarter this fiscal on lower expense and tax refund. The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 46.14 crore during the October-December quarter of the 2018-19, according to a regulatory filing.
