I am planning to invest in mutual funds. Only a few mutual fund schemes are giving double-digit returns in the three- and five-year periods. Can I expect 12% returns from a long term investment of over 15 years?

It is possible to achieve 12% returns on your investments, provided you remain patient and stay calm for 15 years. You also need to monitor your investment from time to time.
