The net asset value of Franklin India Prima Fund-Growth (Direct Plan) went past the 1,000 mark to end at 1,006. Launched in December 1993, this 25-year-old fund with assets of ₹6,491 crore is the second largest in the midcap space after HDFC Midcap Opportunities. The fund has returned 100x resulting in an annualised return of 19.55%. The portfolio is well diversified with 60 stocks, and the top-10 stocks accounting for 27.22% of the corpus. A consistent performer with low standard deviation, the fund has delivered an annualised 25.54% over the past 10 years.
