I wish to invest Rs 10,000 in lumpsum in mutual funds for a short period. Which funds will you suggest for a maximum period for two to three years?

Since you have a short investment horizon, you should invest the money in a safer option like debt mutual funds or bank/company deposits. You may choose short term debt mutual funds to invest for a period of two to three years.
