The domestic manufacturers have said that following the increase in import duty on toys from China in December 2019, they were eyeing bigger share on the Rs 20,000 crore market. The current border tensions and talks of license for import of toys will benefit the domestic manufacturer.

NEW DELHI: The UP government is expecting Rs 3000 crore investment in its 100 acre toy manufacturing hub in Greater Noida that will help toy makers drastically reduce their dependence on China, said Arun Vir Singh, CEO of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).
