Army Chief Rawat denies intrusion by Chinese troops in Ladakh’s Demchok

Reacting on Chinese troop movements in Jammu and Kashmir’s Demchok, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said, “There has been no intrusion. Chinese come and patrol their perceived line of actual control.” He further added , “Celebrations were underway on our side by some Tibetans in Demchok sector. Based on that, to see what was happening, some Chinese also came opposite. Everything is normal in the area.” However, Army Chief confirmed that the issue was also raised out in recent flag meeting and it has been sorted out.
