Dharma Guardian 2019: Indo-Japan joint military exercise underway in Assam's Silchar

    The second edition of bilateral military exercise, 'Dharma Guardian 2019' is underway between Indian and Japanese Armies. Indian contingent is represented by a battalion of the Dogra Regiment whereas the Japanese contingent is represented by 34th Infantry Regiment, 1st Div of Japanese Ground Self Defence Forces (JGSDF). 'Dharma Guardian 2019' also tested skills of soldiers in conducting joint operations in counter-terrorism scenario.
