Assam Company unveils new technologies to provide fillip to tea industry
The company said it has begun a seven-day workshop with a consortium of experts from around the world in a bid to study the fields and creating a tech-supported architectural plan to completely reimagine the future of tea farming.
The company in a statement said that it has begun a seven-day workshop with a consortium of experts from around the world in partnership with Smart Farms Inc in a bid to study the fields and creating a tech-supported architectural plan to completely reimagine the future of tea farming.
"The company will further invest in this solution and run a pilot starting early next year. After successful completion of the pilot, the same will be offered to other tea estates in the country, which will not require any capital investment from them," the statement further said.
BRS ventures chairman BR Shetty said that the new technologies will bring about remarkable change in the tea industry.
