Bihar Election Results: BJP-JD(U) alliance sweeps Bihar, gets 39 of the 40 seats

The BJP-JD(U) alliance is all set to decimate the RJD-Congress alliance in Bihar.

The BJP-JD(U) alliance is leading over 38 seats while the RJD-Congress is leading in just two seats.
Bihar got swept away by the "Modi tsunami" as the BJP made a clean sweep in the seats contested by it in the state while allies JD(U) and LJP, headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Ram Vilas Paswan, too rode the tide and came out with stellar performances.

The BJP-led NDA won a thumping victory in Bihar getting 39 of the 40 Lok Sabha seats. While the RJD, the main opposition party in Bihar, drew a blank, the Congress managed to get a lone seat. Its candidate from Kishanganj constituency Dr. Mohammad Jawed won with a margin of 34,466 votes.

Here are all the updates from Bihar:
    * Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party wins in all the six seats it had contested.

*Giriraj Singh wins from Begusarai, beats Kanhaiya Kumar by a margin of 4.22 lakh votes.

*Patna Sahib, Bihar: Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP) wins against Shatrughan Sinha (Congress) by 2.8 lakh votes.

*Former JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav, who is contesting on a RJD ticket from Madhepura, loses the seat by a margin of over 3 lakh votes.

*The BJP and JD(U) are leading in 16 seats each while the LJP is leading in six seats.

*In Jamui(SC) seat, LJP candidate Chirag Paswan won against his RLSP rival Bhudeo Choudhary by 2.4 lakh votes.

*RJD leader Misa Bharti, daughter of Lalu Yadav, loses Pataliputra seat by a margin of 39,000 votes.

At least Nitish learnt that Modi is Strong and can get votes. But Chandrababu came out of NDA thinking that he will win if we bash MODI.His blunder not only made him loss but earned a very bad name in politics.
