Amazon moves Delhi HC; seeks arrest of Kishore Biyani, stopping of Reliance deal
- Amazon has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking detention of Future Group founders, including CEO Kishore Biyani, and seizure of their assets as it sought to block Future Group from selling retail assets to Reliance Industries.
- In the petition, Amazon sought enforcement of the Singapore arbitrator's ruling in October against its partner Future's Rs 24,713 crore deal with Reliance.
- Amazon sought the Biyani family to be directed to "disclose their assets, including movable and immovable property" and the same be attached.

Farmers tractor rally: Hundreds of women to drive tractors, make their presence count
- In a show of strength, hundreds of women are expected to drive tractors at 'Kisan Gantantra Parade' on Republic Day, as a large number of farmers opposing the new agriculture laws will enter the national capital under a high security cover.

Due to the tractor rally of farmers, interstate buses and local buses will not be operational from Anand Vihar ISBT from 6 am to 6 pm on 26th January. Interstate buses plying from here will run from Sarai Kale Khan: Delhi Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation

Supreme Court refuses to interfere with State Election Commission’s Decision to hold panchayat elections
- A Division Bench of AP High Court held that the order dated 08.01.2021 issued by the APSEC notifying the election schedule for the local bodies need not be interfered with as the facts and circumstances of the case does not warrant suspension of the order.
