Minister of State (independent charge) for MSME in the union cabinet, Giriraj Singh on Monday said that he was “hurt” as the BJP didn’t allot him his incumbent Nawada Lok Sabha seat, and that he will not “compromise” his self respect. He, however, clarified that he had nothing against the Begusarai constituency, which the party has assigned him. “My self respect is hurt that no other MP's seat was changed in Bihar. It was decided without talking to me. State BJP leadership should tell me why it was done. I have nothing against Begusarai but I can not compromise with my self respect,” Singh told ANI.
