Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday wrote to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking directions to LG Anil Baijal to allow hotels and weekly markets in the city. Sisodia's letter comes a day after Baijal rejected the Arvind Kejriwal government's decision to allow hotels and weekly markets to reopen in the national capital, saying the COVID-19 situation continues to be "fragile" and the threat is still "far from over".

As of now HM of country has himself tested positive of covid 19 even though very few people must have access to him in past and he must have been taking all precautions .Dy CM of Delhi should thus consider that there can be spread of virus if hotels weekly markets are allowed to open as large number of people will be visiting these people and will be exposed to infection .Thus if LG has taken decision not to open hotels etc for the time being the Delhi Givt should wait for some more time which will be in the interest of the people and staff of hotels etc .

Not to forget Manish Sisodia is the one who predicted doomsday Covid situation in Delhi. After which Amit Shah had to step in to control the pandemic and reassure Delhiites that he will bring the situation under control and people need not panic and he delivered.
