    Petrol pumps in Pune banned from selling petrol to common people to stop their movement

    Pune: To restrict movement of people, the district administration of Pune has ordered the petrol pumps to stop sale of petrol to all vehicles excepting those who are on essential services, private people working for eradication of corona, people working for essential services and commodities and people requiring medical services.

    "The people who have been exempted from the sale ban order, will have to get their vehicle's tank fully filled only once. The government has ordered the respective departments to prepare list of people who will be exempted from this order. "The decision has taken to stop the spread of coronavirus as it has been found that people who have returned from abroad are still moving around everywhere in the country," said an order of collector Naval Kishor Ram.

    Ali Daruwal, spokesperson, National Petrol Dealers' Association said, "We have requested the administration to allow sale of petrol to all the press reporters."
