Rahul Gandhi rakes up Rafale deal in Maharashtra poll campaign

In the run-up to the 2019 elections, Gandhi had alleged "irregularities" in the Rafale deal under Modi.

MUMBAI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday raked up the Rafale deal issue to target the BJP government, days after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh received the first fighter jet from France.

Addressing a poll rally in Chandivali assembly constituency in Mumbai, his second in the day, Gandhi accused the BJP of "dividing and looting" India like the British had done in the pre-Independence era.

"It seems the Rafale deal is still hurting the BJP.. (If not) Why Rajnath Singh went to France to receive the first fighter jet?" he asked the audience.

In the run-up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Gandhi had alleged "irregularities" in the Rafale deal under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Poor chap!!. He is obliged to sing the old songs in the same corrupt Raga!!. It looks his Pidi gang of Joker advisers are no more active. Some like Divya have left, some like Tharoor are not happy with the much maligned anti-Modi tunes and some others seem to have side stepped to avoid losing their personal image, in their attempt to gain electoral recognition (Eg,.Surjewala). However Raul has tried to add some new tune to the old Raga, borrowing some LEFT-ideas from his friend Yechury. People are not fools to follow Raul Vinci''s irrelevant childish gaffes.
