KL Rahul should open and bring Pant/Shreyas/Bihari at 4. But if Rahul is fixed for 4th position then get Prathavi/Mayank.

Suresh Raina is the best replacement of Shikhar Dhawan.

Balaji (Vellore)

A right and left combination is required to unsettle bowlers. So replacement should be a left handed.

Give Yuvraj a farewell have a chance to be fair to him ..

Sad, Bt truth and reality..No one is out of 1.3 billion indians with 800 million youth ..Groom..train..shape..hone at least 100 Best players from all 29 every Sport/gameprofessional ..all rounders.

India has many players with such track record but the selection team does not give chance to bright one rather cry foul for the injured

this is a big blow to indian hopes

India you have great openers, this is a great opportunity for a great indian opener to come in and make that position his by making sure india wins the world cup with match winning plays.

hope he recovers soon may be pant is the best alternative

Rishabh Pant is the best replacement

Very happy. KL rahul is way better opener and pant can replace. it''s a winning combo

Anushka (Surat)

bad luck. But don''t worry, Indian team is strong.

Dhawan played marvelously and will be missed by all lovers of game perticularly I''n key matches. This will give opportunity for others like Rahul,Pant if permitted to join as replacement by Board.

Is Indian team allowed to get Pant in for Dhawan?

It is set back but we hv options.
